Photograph of Sioux Indian Renegades Chief Kicking Bear, Young Man Afraid Chief of all the Sioux's, and Standing Bear, ca.1891. Three men can be seen at center standing side by side. The man at left wears a vest, shirt, and bandana. His legs are visible, and his hair is in two braids. A blanket lays at his feet. The man at center wears a hat and has a woven blanket wrapped around him. The man at right wears a long sleeved shirt, pants, and wears a cross around his neck. He holds what appears to be some sort of weapon. Wagons and tents can be seen in the background.
