Description
The photo caption printed in the Sacramento Bee on August 23, 1966 states: "The terrain has been tilted, buildings damaged and trees have fallen victim to a massive earth slump resulting from a long series of movements on the Humboldt County property of Joe Russ, IV, above. The spoon-shaped slippage covers about 500 acres."
