Panoramic view of Bethel mission station. Page 1: "Habitation d'une infirmière et d'une directrice d'école" ("The nurses and teachers home"). This house was located right across "chateau Foss" with a drive-way in between. Page 2:"Habitation de missionaire directeur de la station. Oedelagt av cyklon og bygget opp paa ny. (?)" ("The home for the missionaries at the mission station. It was destroyed by a cyclone and then built up again. (?)"). It burned down ca. 1968-1969. It was later built up again in concrete. Kily is the Malagasy name of a tamarind tree which is visible on the picture. Page 3:To the left:"Habitation d'été du missionaire de Malaimbandy" ("Home for the missionaries in Malaimbandy"). To the right:"Habitation du directeur de l'ecole Biblique" ("The home for the director of the Bible School"). The house which was the missionaries home was at a later date used by the sisters that worked at the home for the leprous, Bekoaka.
