Two women are in a sitting room. The left is standing and wears a white lace cap decorated with pink flowers and green leaves. Her dress is yellow trimmed with white lace. The neck line is off the shoulder, and the dress has short sleeves of three tiers of white lace. The lace edges the bodice and the center front of the dress. Six wide yellow double bows decorate the center front. She wears white gloves and a wide gold bracelet on each wrist, and holds a bouquet of yellow and pink flowers in her right hand. The woman on the right is sitting and wears her hair up in a bun, with ringlets at the sides, decorated with a red satin pouf. Her dress is white lace and is off the shoulder with short sleeves of tiers of white lace. The skirt has two wide tiers of gathered lace. On her bodice she wears a large red bow, matching the pouf in her hair. She wears white gloves and one wide gold bracelet, and carries a pink and yellow flower bouquet.
