Description
Image of a crowd of people in the water and on the beach at the Bathing Strand at Ocean Park in Santa Monica. California, with multiple buildings along the beach, including a part of the Ocean Park Bath House visible at far left, and a portion of the Abbot Kinney Venice Pier visible in the distance at right. The Ocean View hotel and apartments with signs that read "Morley's" and an advertisement for Maier beer and the Cadillac Hotel are visible at left, as well as signs for a pharmacy and New Denver Hotel.
"From W W I scrapbook"--text, handwritten in ink on verso. Same area referred to as "Bathing Strand" on related item. Title transcribed from item; date devised by cataloger based on note on verso that places the item in a World War I scrapbook and general style of postcard.
