Description
Photograph of a view of San Francisco from Nob Hill, showing earthquake damage, 1906. A broken sidewalk lies in the foreground reaching from the left to a line of trees on the right. Beyond the trees lies a block of buildings which have crumbled completely to the ground. A thin tower stands in the ruins on the right. A street runs behind the block with large, damaged buildings missing portions of their walls standing in the background across the street.
