Photograph caption dated October 16, 1963 reads, "Sixth grade students at Noble Avenue School in Sepulveda prepare to leave for a week in the outdoors at the Los Angeles City Schools' camp at Clear Creek in the Angeles National Forest above La Canada. The students will spend this week at the camp, studying the outdoors in addition to their regular curricula."
