Description
Seal-shaped fountains flow with water in Seal Court fountain of Malott Commons. The seals were originally designed by Lawrence Tenney Stevens, modeled in clay by Jean McBurney, and fired by William Manker, Scripps ceramics professor (1935-47). In 1990, Paul Soldner, Scripps ceramics professor (1957-91), recast the seals in bronze.
