Description
A letter from Julian Hinds, Assistant Chief Engineer of the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California, to Austin Burt, the Ontario City Service Manager. The letter refers to the specifications of the construction of the Colorado River Aqueduct as they relate to resurfacing streets in response to damages done during the construction of the aqueduct. The letter puts the responsibility of repairing the streets on the contractor who built the Ontario section of the aqueduct, the J. F. Shea Company.
