Photograph of an interior view of the Lugo adobe, California, showing the Suza(?) piano purchased in 1855. The piano is upright and has two pedals with decorative wooden grillwork over the soundboard. The cover over the keyboard is closed. Five photographs are displayed on top of the piano. Over the piano, hangs a large portrait of Don Vincente Lugo on horseback, hunting. Four other small pictures sit on the wooden rail which runs around the room about 5 feet from the floor. A small round table sits in the corner beside the piano bearing a vase with flowers and other objects. An Indian rug covers part of the bare wood floor. The rafters of the ceiling are visible above.
