People crowd the water's edge in the center portion of the island. A roller coaster stands as part of an amusement park on the right while the rest of the cityscape is occupied by large buildings. One exception is a small patch of large, rounded trees in the background on the left. Caption reads "An airplane view of Long Beach which once changed hands for $152 in delinquent taxes".
