The Girls' Life Brigade were a girl guide troop run by Miss Brazier of the Methodist Missionary Society Ama Achara station. This photograph was taken at a celebration of a women's anniversary held at Eziama, southeast Nigeria, in 1934. The caption to this photograph reads: "Mrs Wood and a little cadet who took the collection." This photograph was pasted into one of a series of exercise book albums created by Emily Godfrey, Matron of the Ama Achara Methodist Hospital.
