Gerald Blake (Fireman). (Sleeve reads: A-9561).
Caption slip reads: "Photographer: Emery. Date: 1952-05-10. Reporter: Emery to rewrite. Assignment: Fire Envoy Petroleum Company. 1601 East Sprint Street, Long Beach. (Fireman burned). 60, 61, 26, 27: Long Beach fireman Lawrence H. Elder, 32 years, of Engine Co. 14, right leg burned by molten tar, receiving first aid at fire. Man at right with ointment, tape, etc. is fireman Gerald Blake, also of Engine Co. 14".
