Description
Lei Feng was an orphan and was brought up by the government. In gratitude he did a lot of good things for ordinary people by, it was said, learning from Chairman Mao's works. He died in a car accident and was set up as a model hero for helping others. Mao gave a citation for him on March 5th. Since then every March is the month to learn from Lei Feng. "Learning from Comrade Lei Feng."
