Description
Sacramento's Kathy Hammond flashes across the finish line in world record time in the Times Indoor Meet Friday night in Los Angeles. Miss Hammond zipped 500 yards in 1:06:3 for a world's women's indoor record. She went on to win two medals in the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich.
