Description: One Will Wear Placer Crown - The queen of the Placer County Fair, which will open July 21 in Roseville, will be selected from eight contestants. Seven of them are, from left, Roberta Troyer, Alara Poitras, Joanne Stephenson, and Margaret Darling all of Roseville. Jane Duff of Rocklin, Cindy Lucas of Lincoln, and Sybil Weems of Loomis. Eleanor Dusseau of Roseville was not available for the photograph. The queen will be crowned at 9:30 pm on the opening day of the fair.
