Three of the missionaries could be Brother Stern (on the right holding a topee), Brother Seibt (just behind the sultan)and Brother Löbner (on the left).--Löbner, Mads Hansen, pastor. Born September 26th, 1868 in stenderup, Denmark, died 1922 in Götterup, Denmark. On April 2nd, 1902 he married Ane Marie Pedersen in Kopenhagen. From 1906-1914 he worked as a missionary in Unyamwezi, from 1906-08 he was stationed in Urambo. In 1908 he was subsitute head of synod. In 1910 he was head in Sikonge and he became head of synod of the Unyamwezi mission in the same year. From 1912 he was in Tabora. In 1914 he was on vacation in Europe.--Seibt, Karl August (1875-1943) was a teacher and a missionary of the Herrnhuter Brüdergemeine. He served in Unyamwezi (1904-1916) and Usoke (1930-1937). In 1905 he married Frieda Scholz. They returned to Germany in 1937.--Stern, Rudolf Leupold(t)Theologist, born June 15th, 1865 in Gorakhpur, East India, died March 12th, 1923 in Schönbruch, East Prussia. He married Hanna Binder in 1894 and the couple took up missionary work in Suriname that same year until 1897. From 1898-1908 Stern worked as a missionary in East Africa (1898 Urambo, 1899 Kiwere: foundation of a new mission station, 1906-08 Sikonge). In 1908 the couple returned to Germany.
