Description
An ornate, Victorian mansion, of Moritz Rosenbaum, in Pasadena, California, with a wraparound porch sits amid landscaped grounds of trees, cactus, and flowers.
Title transcribed from bottom of photo-mount. Date devised by cataloger based on photographer history; the Jarvis studio operated from about 1886 until 1894. Printed below title on photo-mount: "Jarvis / Pasadena, Cal." Written on back of photo-mount: "Rosenbaum, one of the first settlers 1886 / Mr. Prinz." Label affixed to back of photo-mount reads: "A Marshalltown Iowa Family Home Now Vista Del Arroyo Hotel." Photographer's imprint printed on back of photo-mount.
