Jens Christensen (JCh), born 1899 in Chicago of Danish parents. Education as missionary pastor Jens Christensen (JCh), født 1899 i Chicago af danske forældre. Jens Christensen døde i 1967

After contact to the Tent Mission, with work at a women's hospital in Mardan, he met with the Danish Missionary Nurse, Margrethe Rasmussen, and they married in 1926. Then Rev. From 1955 the independent Pakistan Lutheran Church was founded, and JCh (with others) wrote the Church Constitution, accepted at the first Synod meeting,2nd November 1955. Here Rev. JCh was elected to Bishop of the Church. (Photo is from the consecration, 11th December 1955). The following years continued with lots of cooperation problems, which at the end resulted in a break with JCh in 1962.
