Description
Photograph of construction of a large arch in 4th Street Viaduct, [s.d.]. At center, a large metallic arch can be seen extending from the foreground at right into the background at left. Along the base of the arch at left, a series of wooden stumps can be seen. Also to the left of the arch, a large crane is visible. At least three ladders can be seen attached to the side of the arch, and two men stand on a platform above the center ladder. A series of large cross beams can be seen beneath the arch for support. Along the top of the arch, a series of wooden beams are being placed perpendicular to the cross beams. Along the edge of the arch to the far right, three men wearing suits and hats face towards the viewer.
