Photograph caption dated October 17, 1950 reads, "Senator Jack B. Tenney (third from left) in address to American Legion Post 176 in San Fernando, said 'We are fooling ourselves to think we are not at war with Russia.' At meeting were (left to right) Robert Kirby, finance officer; Art Paradis, post commander; Tenney; Taylor P. Reynolds, past fourth area commander, Department of California, and Hy Finwall, Americanism chairman. Tenney also said: 'To recognize Red China would be a further betrayal of the U.S."
