Title supplied by cataloger. Clifford E. Clinton (August 3, 1900 - November 20, 1969) founded the chain of restaurants called Clifton's (Clif from Clifford + ton from Clinton) in 1931. He and his wife Nelda ran the business until 1946, when they retired to focus on his non-profit organization, Meals for Millions, created right after World War II to address malnourishment and hunger. Two people working for Clifford Clinton's anti-starvation program, "Meals for Millions," pose with samples of packaged foods that are purchased with the recommended 3 cent contribution.
