Description
McHugh studied at Anna Halprin's Tamalpa Institute. He later became her assistant. He contributed to the development and direction of Halprin's somatic programs for people with cancer and HIV. Recently he has created solo and ensemble performance works which reflect his experience with AIDS. Interview conducted for the Legacy Oral History Project. California Preservation Service (CAPS)
