Description
Mormon women often measure the success of their families and their own success as parents by their children's participation in the spiritual rite of passage known as the full time mission. This paper analyzes the narratives of women who participated in the Mormon Women Oral History Project with regards to the missionary service or lack thereof on the part of their children.
