Description: Photo caption reads: "Gifts shower down from pinata as it is broken in traditional climax of "Las Posados," Mexican Christmas celebration, here today. The little girls rushing to the gifts are some of 75 from the Los Angeles Orphanage, who were honored guests. Girl held on man's shoulder (right) had the honor of breaking the Pinata with a stick. The colorful event was held on stage behind the public library". Photo dated: December 11, 1951.
