Description
"Dorfstrasse in Musangano." ("Village street in Musangano.") A square is surrounded by rectangular thatched huts. In the middle of the square: several round storage huts, built on piles. On the left between two huts: laundry hanging on a clothesline. On the right: a palm tree.
Ernst Hermann Schnabel (1904-1953) was a missionary of the Herrnhuter Brüdergemeine and served in East Africa until the end of the 1930s. In 1934, he married Käthe Prellwitz in Kyimbila.
