Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph article dated August 28, 1950 partially reads, "Plans for the trainind [sic] course to be conducted by Dr. Napoleon Hill, noted lecturer and author, were completed at a meeting held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Van Scoy, 14931 Roscoe Blvd. Van Nuys, with 38 associates participating. Dr. Hill will deliver three free lectures in the Embassay [sic] Auditorium, 847 S. Grand Ave., Sept. 5, 7 and 9." Photograph caption reads, "Author and associates - Dr. Napoleon Hill meets with his class at home of Mr. and Mrs. C. R. VanScoy, 14931 Roscoe Blvd., Van Nuys."
