Photograph of a large rock outcropping on a cliff in Santa Monica's Palisades Park, 1910-1920. The rock formation is at center and is roughly conical in shape. A large variety of plants is growing on the left side of the rock, including palm trees and cactus. A path can be seen along the cliff face at left, and it is bordered by a wooden fence, which can also be seen at the top of the cliffs. A sandy beach and the ocean are visible in the distance at right, and a two pairs of railroad tracks can be seen as well.
