Silent color footage depicts activities of the Forest Fire Truck Driver school at the now defunct Southern California Training Center (at Ramona, CA) Documents facility grounds and practices used when formalized training was initiated for State fire truck drivers in the 1950s/60s. Predecessor fire training facility for CDF/CalFire replaced in 1967 by fire academy facility at Ione. Believed to be shot during 1964/65. Can marked "TC" / Can and Reel marked "FFTD Orientation - Preview of Special Activities, Copter - Hoverjumps - attachment - Oil Fires - Xmas tree - LPG 64-65" / Leader marked "4-64 Sing TR FF FFF 1965"
