The Victor Hugo Restaurant, located 233 North Beverly Drive in Beverly Hills, has since been demolished.
Caption on verso reads, "Actress Dorothy Lamour with 1st Lieutenant H.F. Ayres stationed at Schofield Barrack T.H. (Territory of Hawaii) seen at Victor Hugo's. She is wearing his wings." Photograph dated May 21, 1940.
