Description: MacArthur Park, created in the 1880's under the name Westlake Park, was later renamed in honor of General Douglas MacArthur. This photograph shows a couple, or just friends, chatting on a park bench that faces the lake at the park. At least three canoes are visible on the lake, and several miniature sailboats. Circa early 1930s.
