Description: Image of a bearded Scottish man wearing traditional Highland dress of a kilt, sporran, hose, Balmoral cap, and sash in tartan plaid; he brandishes a sword and a small round shield against halberd blades visible at left; rocky mountains visible in background; lion holding flag with "N" for Nashawannuck Manufacturing Company with motto, "Trade mark. Labor omnia vincit." in small circular frame at bottom center.
Date supplied by cataloger based on printer history; the Graphic Company operated from 1873-1884. "The Graphic Co. Lith. 39 & 41 Park Place N.Y."--text, bottom right margin. Registration marks visible in margins; item is likely a printer's proof.
