View above Rock Creek and the Feather River. Donor/Source: Ron Hanford (owned by Glenn Way) GMW 1520634. Audio Tape 17B-410. Way occasionally walked down the Western Pacific tracks when he had a few hours off. This photograph was taken below the powerhouse, above Rock Creek and the Feather River. The transmission tower was for the 60kV lines coming from the caribou powerhouse to the North. GMW thinks the train that's visible was a work train, not a passenger train.
