Description
Photograph of railroad tracks near street work on Manchester Avenue, just west of Alameda Street and south of New Firestone Plant site, 1927. In the foreground, a set of railroad tracks cuts left to right across the foreground, just in front of a billboard that reads "Mason Cole & Company. Realators, Industrial Properties. 207 Edwards & Wildey Bldg. Trinity 6018" as well as "Firestone Tire & Rubber Co.". At center, a lone automobile stands facing away from the viewer on an expanse of flat ground. In the distance, a group of stone buildings, one of them at right at ower, can be seen, flanked by trees. Farther in at left, a water tower can be seen.
