Photograph caption date stamped March 14, 1957 reads, "Amateur boxing on a semi-monthly basis will return to the Valley tomorrow night when a card of eight bouts is held at Carpenter's Hall in Van Nuys. One of the battlers will be Manuel Mukes, shown here, who will fight Edgar Villaboros in one of the seven bouts programmed by Promoter Joe Terry."
