Photograph article dated March 1, 1961 partially reads, "Across the television screen flits a pleasant little singing coffee bean; a Stone Age family battles the problems of suburbia, and a squint-eyed little man steps fearlessly into the path of an on-rushing train. All are the brainchildren of one of the most vigorous and enterprising segments of the Valley's motion picture and television industry - the animation studios. Television has breathed new life into cartoon making, an industry it once seemed destined to kill." Note: Pictured are Joe Barbera (left) and Bill Hanna, creators of the "planned" or "limited" animation technique that includes the "Flintstones," shown at rear.
