Description
Old shelf number: eph J2d. Generally referred to as "The Miracle Mile" this was a district developed as an alternative shopping district to downtown LA. According to OCLC, Security Trust and Savings Bank consolidated 1929 with Los Angeles First National Trust & Savings Bank, new bank known as Security-First National Bank of Los Angeles. The Wilshire Country Club, which appears on this map interrupting Beverly Boulevard, was founded in 1919, according to the club's website. Prime meridian: GM. Relief: no. Graphic Scale: Miles.
