Description
Relevant to the history and culture of southern Inyo County, including information on the Narrow Gauge and Southern Pacific Railroads at the townsites of Owenyo, Olancha, Keeler and Lone Pine, along with stories related to early mining settlements such as Darwin, Centennial Flats, and Talc City. Mr. Cline also addresses his experiences with the farming and ranching in southern Inyo County, specifally sheep, fruit and potatos. The time period covered is 1920 through the 1960s.
