Description
Photograph of Nevada County Views, showing Methodist Church in Grass Valley, ca.1910. In the foreground at center, a small dirt road can be seen extending to the far left. Along the street, two utility poles can be seen. At right, a large tree obscures half the image with its branches and foliage. In the background at center, the large bell tower of a church is visible. The main body of the church is not visible. A small flight of stairs leads to a doorway at the base of the rectangular bell tower. A large spire surmounts the top of the tower, with a finial seen at its peak. Additional trees can be seen in the extreme background.
