Description
This "imagen de vestir" (a type of processional sculpture intended to be clothed) represents "Our Virgin of Mount Carmel". It is made of polychrome wood. The Virgin holds Baby Jesus on her lap. Jesus's right-hand holds a scapular in a delicate gesture. The piece has meticulous details in ceramics, such as the eyes of the Virgin, and the little teeth and eyes of Baby Jesus. The Virgin wears a simple crown of 8 leaves or spikes.
