Photograph caption reads: "The Belmont Bar was closed after "over 100 narcotics arrests" were made inside the location, according to police. The Belmont Bar at 462 South Main Street in L.A. is being closed by authorities on Wednesday April 8. The bar has for years been a hotbed of crime - especially drug traffic". Photograph dated: April 7, 1981.
