From the Sacramento Bee caption printed May 23, 1965: "Lake Tahoe and the Emerald Bay inlet nestle against the snow capped Sierra Nevada in this view from a Pan American Clipper on a pilot training flight out of Stockton, San Joaquin County. Newsmen were invited for an inside look at the training routine."
