Original photograph has several creases. Photograph caption dated July 7, 1958 reads "Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Hill of Sun Valley and family open letters and telegrams which poured into home from all over nation with job offers and money. Hill, jobless ex-convict, and wife were going to put baby, Mike, 20 months, up for adoption because of dire financial condition. Family gained public notice when children, Genevieve, 13, seated on couch holding Mike, and Sandra, 16, second from right, ran away with tot to prevent adoption.
