Hammond Lumber Company, Humbolt County. End of grading table. Trucks with graded lumber on them. The lumber is placed on trucks as graded. The trucks are then run out into the yard on platforms about 20 ft. off the ground so that in the piling of lumber the work is not so heavy. The trucks are lifted to this elevated track by means of a hand derrick. May 18, 1915
