Photograph of three men standing outside the entrance to a commercial building in the business district of Bakersfield, [s.d.]. The building's tall, glass-paned doors are pictured at center, the right portion of the double doors open. To the left, a tall, lanky man can be seen leaning against the display window, dressed in a suit. At center a shorter man in a suit and hat can be seen, while to the right, a third, slightly taller man is pictured in a lighter suit. A sign painted onto the display window at left reads "General Land Agents". To the right, a second sign reads "Kern Valley Durfe[...] [S]ystem. [...] Colleg[...] Agency". Hanging signs at the far left read: "C.H. Congdon", "Civil & Irrigation" and "Engineer".
