W. 18. The "Redwood Bowl". Elevation 7500 ft. on Redwood Mt. Supposed to be the densest stand of Redwood in the world. 72 trees on 2 acres. These trees average from 8 to 10 ft. in diameter and are tall straight and clear. They stand in a little depression on top of the ridge of Redwood Mt. about 2 miles S.E. of Whitaker's forest
