Photograph caption dated September 8, 1956 reads, "Oldsters find company in Burbank home - Elderly residents of Evangelical home find companionship and healthy atmosphere instead of lonely rooms and ill-balanced meals which is fate of many of nation's aging population. Each resident has private room plus run of block-square grounds, community rooms. Purchased in 1921, home houses 84 oldsters, only 10 men. Persons of other faiths are admitted although home gives preference to members of own faith. Price of room and board ranges from $75 to $85 a month.
