Clouds billowing from the Valley Steam Plant in Sun Valley are caused by steam condensing in cool air and contain no smog-causing elements, William Mason, project engineer said in reply to inquiries from worried Valley residents. It is the largest inland steam plant in the world. It will generate 512,000 kilowatts of electric power when placed on full production before the present year ends. Photo date: January 21, 1955.
