Communique no. 128 reports: FRELIMO fighters attacked the strategic hamlet at Kanyantati 2 enemy vehicles, out of a convoy of 11, were destroyed in an ambush in the road between Nacatar and Mueda Lorry destroyed by a mine, on the road between Ng'apa and Mueda Group of Portuguese soldiers were ambushed by FRELIMO in the zone of Nyankoma, some were killed A convoy of military lorries, were ambushed on the road Ngtapa-Mueda, in the zone of Chikalanga. 2 lorries were destroyed, 6 Portuguese soldiers were killed.
