Description
Image of a female court jester and a male court jester wearing colorful costumes with ribbons, bells, jester hats, and ruffled collars and dancing together, while the man holds a jester puppet head on a stick; the poster advertises a masquerade ball held by the Mutual Benefit Association of the Board of Trade Clerks and includes a date sheet with information for the February 6, [1892], even at the Battery D and Second Regiment Armory halls in Chicago, Illinois.
Date based on 1892 newspaper advertisement for the event: “Battery D.—Second Regiment Armory. Lake-Front. Third Annual Grand Prize Masque Carnival of the Board of Trade Clerks’ M. B. Association (The original Board of Trade Clerks’ organization).
